LA3: Know About Research Methods.

PRIMARY RESEARCH, SECONDARY RESEARCH, QUALITATIVE RESEARCH, QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

PRIMARY RESEARCH: Primary research is something you gather and collect yourself to get new information that isn't anywhere else online / in books. This is usually done by what is called "Field Work" This is where you go out and interview people with surveys and questionnaires.

SECONDARY RESEARCH: Secondary research is research that already exists in the world such as in books or the internet. You can find this anywhere including Documentaries and Newspapers, This is good to find just so you are sure you have all relevant information needed.

QUALITATIVE RESEARCH: Qualitative research is non-numerical and is purely peoples opinions on previous questions you have asked them to back up their opinions and why they think what they think, this is to get more information from them, This is mainly carried out in small groups.

QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH: Quantitative Research is valued in numerals. This is where you gather rather large amounts of people and give them a ticky-box questionnaire, This can be what their favourite TV show is, or anything along those lines.
